Dinner with a friend...

I just got back from a business trip in Reno, NV where I stopped and had dinner with a new friend. Now we haven't seen each other in about a month but I do have to say that I forgot how much we have in common. I am amazed each time I run into someone with such similar ideals and thoughts as my own. I guess it is a breath of fresh air to know that there are other people in the world that think and feel the same way I do.

Now you are probably wondering what the heck we have in common. Let me attempt to explain. This law of attraction, where I bring people into my world (subconscious and consciously), is getting stronger the more I am aware of it. I am really starting to enjoy meeting more people who have a "holistic" approach to life. I feel one does not have to rely on medicine to make them better. I also feel that perhaps our mind is what is creating the negative "stuff" in our body. This has been the biggest draw for me in my world and I love to soak up any info I find on the topic.

Now back to my friend. We had a lovely evening talking about life, ideals and how some people think she is "silly" for thinking the way she does but one example stood out to me. She was talking about how everyone in her office was getting sick. Then when one person got better another one got sick. This continued until each person got sick at least twice except for her. She never got sick at all! Her co-workers started to then ask her "Okay, what do you take? How can I get better?" It just goes to show that Medicine isn't always the best policy and that natural herbs and a positive outlook can be much stronger than any medicine out there.

I can't wait to have dinner with her again.
