Why is it we are not taught it is okay to deserve certain things in life? I feel that the majority of people’s problems in their world can be tied back to deserve-ability. This could also be seen as self-esteem. No self esteem, no feeling you deserved to be loved, prosper, be happy, etc. So what do we do instead?
Sabotage ourselves.
How? Well, let me ask you this…What do you tell yourself when you look in the mirror each morning? “Ugh, how ugly does my hair look today? Why can’t I look like those models in the magazines? Are my pores getting bigger? Are my eyebrows turning into a uni-brow? I just plucked yesterday! Why am I not as smart as my sibling? I’m never going to be happy until I have…etc.”
All those thoughts essentially are negative thought patterns (also known as affirmations). You reaffirm each day these negative thoughts and feelings so when abundance falls into our laps, we will refuse it somehow because it does not “fit” with what we have been telling our subconscious.
*Your consciousness put you where you are now. Your consciousness will either keep you there or lift you to a better position. It's up to you!*
These negative thoughts and feelings are just the fear coming out and making its presence known. My suggestion to you is to acknowledge those thoughts and thank them. Thank them for caring so much about you that they want you to be aware of your surroundings. Thank them for protecting you and then follow it up with a more positive affirmation or thought pattern. We don’t want to run away from the thoughts or not acknowledge them at all because they do give us information about ourselves, our surroundings and what we deserve to be working on in this moment of our lives.
Whatever we concentrate on increases. Be grateful for what you have, and you will find that it increases.
